Abhiram Chakkiyar

I’m Abhiram Chakkiyar. I make complex things clear for a living.

Most days I’m shaping documentation, working out how people actually understand a product or a system. I lead a technical writing team, so a lot of my job is the harder questions behind the words: what a reader truly needs versus what an engineer assumes they need, and why “clear” is so much harder than “correct.”

I’m not an engineer, and I won’t pretend to be one. I know my way around basic HTML and CSS, and these days I build small sites and tools by working closely with AI. This site is one of them. The writing is the craft I’ve spent years on. The building is just how I get an idea out of my head and into something real.

What I care about, more than anything, is clarity. Not simplicity for its own sake, not dumbing things down. Just finding the version of an idea that fits the person who needs it.
